On 5th May, you are able to choose who you want to represent you on Fylde Borough Council. 

Your choice is important, because the future of our town is greatly influenced by Fylde Council's decisions.

I believe that whoever you choose should have strong and deep local roots, a passion to improve our town, considerable experience of how to go about it, and plenty of time available.  

I hope that you will choose me because:

	I have been a Wesham Town Council member for over 25 years and had the honour to serve you at Wesham Town Council as Mayor and also on two previous occasions.
	I am Chairman of Wesham Community Pride Trust, and have been presented with an award by the Government's Respect Task Force for improvements in Wesham.
	I was active in preparing the way for the Wesham Parish Plan, which will help to set Wesham on the right course for the future.
	I am 65 years old, with 3 grown up children, and 5 grandchildren. I have lived in Wesham all of my married life.

Seven years ago, I retired from work. This has allowed me more time to deal with issues that affect us all. 

Having more time available, and having extensive experience as a Wesham Town Councillor, I believe that my solid foundation would allow me to serve you as an effective Independent councillor on Fylde Borough Council. I hope you will give me your support on 5th May.

My proven track record at the Town Council, and my Independent status, would guarantee to put your needs above those of any political party. As an Independent Councillor, I will serve the community, not a political master.

	- Governor of Wesham C.E Primary School for 25 years - Prepared a School Travel Plan submitted to LCC - Take part in the Cycle proficiency scheme
	Represented Wesham Town Council at the public enquiry to recommend refusal of the planning application for a development at Mowbreck Lane Wesham for 264 houses
	Established a Wesham Community Web Site www.wesham.org.uk
	Treasurer of Old Folks Xmas Party Committee for 25 years
	Co-organise and take part in the Remembrance Day Service
	Member of the Fylde Parish Liaison Group

If successful at the election for Fylde Borough Council I will continue to serve Medlar with Wesham at the Town Council and continue to support the principles of 'Fylde Independents'.
